๐นStudents can find the official notification, online application form, exam-related details, and more on the website. Applicants can select up to five CUET subjects from a total of 37 subjects, which include 13 languages, 23 domain subjects, and one General Aptitude Test.
๐ธThe CUET UG is a national-level entrance exam for admissions to top universities in India. This year, 287 universities will accept CUET UG 2025 scores for undergraduate admissions.

๐นHowever, the exam dates for CUET UG 2025 have not been announced yet by NTA. Once the official notification is released, the important dates will be updated. As per available information, the exam is expected to be conducted between May 8 and June 1, 2025.

Exam Score Usage:๐๐ป
Candidates interested in admission to universities/institutions that consider this exam score must appear for CUET UG 2025. The list of universities/institutions using this score, along with available programs and admission qualifications, can be found on the CUET UG 2025 website (https://cuet.nta.nic.in/). More institutions may join the process, so applicants should regularly check the website for updates.
For specific admission conditions, candidates must refer to the CUET UG website and also check the information bulletin/prospectus published by individual universities/institutions.
Eligibility Criteria:
There is no age limit for appearing in the exam. However, candidates must meet any age criteria set by specific institutions.
Applicants must have passed Class 12/equivalent examination or be appearing for it in 2025. Equivalent qualifications include:
HSC Vocational Examination
3-year recognized diploma
NIOS Senior Secondary Examination (with 5 subjects)
Certain foreign examinations
The year of qualification required will be as per the university’s regulations.
Each university/institution may have different eligibility criteria, subject combinations for admission, reservation policies, and relaxations. Hence, before applying, candidates must check the university/institution website they wish to apply for.
Exam Subjects::
CUET UG 2025 includes a total of 37 subjects across three sections:

General Aptitude Test
All questions will be objective-type multiple-choice questions (MCQs).
*Section 1: Languages (13)*
English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, Urdu
Questions will test Reading Comprehension (based on factual, literary, and narrative passages), Literary Aptitude, and Vocabulary.
Section 2: Domain-Specific Subjects (23)
Accounting/Bookkeeping, Agriculture, Anthropology, Biology/Biological Sciences/Biotechnology/Biochemistry, Business Studies, Chemistry, Environmental Science, Computer Science/Information Practices, Economics/Business Economics, Fine Arts/Visual Arts/Commercial Arts, Geography/Geology, History, Home Science, Knowledge Tradition – Practices in India, Mass Media/Mass Communication, Mathematics/Applied Mathematics, Performing Arts (Dance, Drama, Music), Physical Education (Yoga, Sports), Physics, Political Science, Psychology, Sanskrit, Sociology.

Candidates can choose subjects based on the courses and universities they are applying for.
*Section 3: General Aptitude Test*
Includes Foreign Languages (Arabic, Bodo, Chinese, Dogri, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Kashmiri, Konkani, Maithili, Manipuri, Nepali, Persian, Russian, Santali, Sindhi, Spanish, Tibetan, Sanskrit).
Also covers Entrepreneurship, Teaching Aptitude, Fashion Studies, Tourism, Legal Studies, Engineering Graphics.
Tests General Knowledge, Current Affairs, General Mental Ability, Numerical Ability, Quantitative Reasoning (basic arithmetic, algebra, geometry, mensuration, statistics), Logical & Analytical Reasoning.
Maximum of 5 Tests:
Candidates can choose up to 5 tests (including languages and general test).
Subject selection should be based on the program requirements of the universities they wish to apply for.
Details on which tests are required for each course are available on the CUET UG 2025 website under the Universities link.

For BA (Hons.) in International Relations at Kerala Central University, candidates need:
English (from the language section)
Political Science (from domain-specific subjects)
General Aptitude Test
Exam Pattern:
The exam will be computer-based (CBT).
Depending on the number of applicants and subject choices, the exam may be conducted in multiple shifts. If so, marks normalization will be used to determine the NTA Score. Details on this are provided in the information bulletin.
Question Format:
Each test paper will have 50 questions.
All questions are mandatory.
Time duration: 60 minutes per test.
Marking Scheme:
Correct answer: +5 marks
Wrong answer: -1 mark (negative marking)
Medium of Questions:
Available in 13 languages, including English, Hindi, Malayalam.
Applicants must select their preferred language at the time of application; changes cannot be made later.

General: ₹1000 for up to 3 subjects, ₹400 per additional subject.
OBC (NCL)/EWS: ₹900, ₹375 per additional subject.
SC/ST/PwD/Third Gender: ₹800, ₹350 per additional subject.
Foreign candidates: ₹4500 for up to 3 subjects, ₹1800 per additional subject.
Payment Deadline: March 23, 2025, 11:50 PM (via credit/debit card/net banking/UPI).
Correction Window:
March 24 to March 26, 2025 (11:50 PM) for corrections in the application.
